Barcelona Port Heliport (LEPB) is a small helipad in the southern parts of the city of Barcelona located directly at the waterfront in the port. The helipad is used by lots of private helicopters and is thus quite busy during summer or the F1 weekend.

Pont de la Porta d’Europa – All Helipad Movements | |
---|---|
WHERE | The spot is located on Rda. del Port just at the eastern end of the Pont de la Porta d’Europa. Just make your way here thru the port area and try to get rid of your car south of the spot along the waterfront: along Passeig de l’Escullera are some parking spots where you can try to park. Then walk back up onto the bridge and position yourself at the rails front, from where you can shoot down onto the helipad below allowing some incredible views… |
WHAT | From here you can spot all helicopter movements on the helipad in front plus the arrivals/departures in front of some great port scenery. |
TIME | Depending on the exact angle, but you can take good pictures here from noon till sunset. |
MISC. | Keep a low profile as celebrities do not like to be spotted during deboarding! Take your pictures during the movements and then put down the camera again! Also, take care not to disturb the car traffic on the road next to you. Nothing around except the road, bring everything you need with you. |
FOCAL LENGTH | 24-400mm depending on the angle/position… |
Spot is located by the roadside at the railfront up on the bridge from where you can look down onto the helipad…
