Lausanne Blécherette Airport (IATA: none / ICAO: LSGL) is a small civilian airport located in the north of Lausanne. First the airport served only as a General Aviation airfield with a grass runway. In May 2000, it was replaced by a concrete runway which allows years after years a huge development of the airport.
Since a few years Lausanne is the home of Fly 7 Executive Aviation SA PC12’s fleet as well as a few private owners PC12’s and even the only engine aircraft based the Cessna Mustang HB-VWZ. They also host 2x TBM’s HB-KJT and HB-KOL.
As well you can expect a few from Jetfly Aviation and of course some other PC12 airlines/private owners are often seen here.
The airport hosts the prestigious AMPA “Association pour le Maintien du Patrimoine Aéronautique” that brings together, restore and fly historic aircraft like the following ones:
HM-8 Avionnette – HB-YEI (1928)
Dewoitine D.26 – HB-RAI (1931)
Morane-Saulnier MS317 – HB-RAO (1937)
Messerschmitt BF 108B – HB-HEB (1938)
Bücker Bü 131B Jungmann – HB-AFE (1938)
Piper L4 – HB-OGC & HB-OSM (1944)
De Havilland Canada DHC1 Chipmunk 22 – HB-TUT (1951)
Bébé Jodel D.9 – HB-SAE (1958)
Pilatus P3 – HB-RCY (1958)
Pilatus PC7 – HB-HPR (1982)
